Science & Tech Minister: An object of ridicule
Dr Jitendra Singh, who is a physician by profession and Minister for Science and Technology, does not mince any words in making derogatory comments about India.
Wherever and whenever, programmes on scientific research are held and he is invited to speak on the subject of research, he can’t help laughing and saying: “Come to India, we have a lot of diseases to research on.
You choose any subject of disease, we shall provide you diseases”. He said: I had a group of boys from Germany; they wanted to do a health project. I said, "You name the disease, I'll give you one which you can’t have in any European country.”
The Minister makes a mockery of himself by repeatedly making ridiculous comments on Indian diseases and the health system.
The comments of the Minister suggest that the Government enjoys the existence of diseases instead of eradication.
