BJP emerges as largest winning party in Bihar Assembly Elections
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged as the largest winning party grabbing as many as 89 seats in the Bihar elections with the position of claiming its Chief Minister in the State. Its (NDA) ally Janata Dal (United) (JDU) secured maximum 85 seats, while Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) was reduced to only 25 seats. In the elections, the claims of Congress party bit the dust in the elections with the poorest performance. Besides, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) (LJPRV) won 19 seats, while AIMI and HAMS each got five seats from different segments.
