Kailash Vijayvargiya, a BJP senior leader and Cabinet Minister in Madhya Pradesh Government, has come in for a lot of criticism over using an inappropriate word on camera in response to a question raised by a journalist in the deaths due to consumption of contaminated water at a locality in Indore. The Minister and his son have always been hot off the press for their controversial activities and acts. The Minister is being trolled on social media for his callous attitude over the deaths of people in the city. Meanwhile, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report that at least seven people died and more than 40 others fell ill after consuming contaminated water in the Bhagirathpura area of Indore district in Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, the residents had been complaining about the supply of contaminated water supply for several days, but no action was taken by the authorities. It has issued a notice to the Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, calling for a detailed report on the matter within two weeks.
