Sharmishtha Koul Sharma gets additional charge of CMD, India Optel Ltd
Sharmishtha Koul Sharma, Director (HR), India Optel Limited, has been assigned an additional charge of Chairman & Managing Director, India Optel Limited after a vacancy of this post arose after the superannuation of incumbent Tushar Tripathi in May, 2026.
The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) did not find a suitable candidate for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, India Optel Limited in spite of interviewing ten short-listed candidates at the selection meeting held on April 22, 2026.
The Board has recommended the Administrative Ministry/Department to choose an appropriate course of further action for selection including the Search cum Selection Committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent authority for the post of Chairman & Managing Director of this Schedule B Company.
