Tough fight among four internal candidates for CMD, BHEL
The Bureaugram.com on December 19, 2025 had projected four internal candidates as stronger contenders for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) falling vacant in February 2027. The same candidates have been short-listed to be interviewed for the post of CMD, BHEL on October 23, 2026.
One of the candidates among these four Executive Director level officers: Vinod Jacob Sam, Yatindra Mohan, Nishit Babyloni and N Ramesh Kumar, is expected to be picked up as successor to K Sadashiv Murthy completing tenure in January, 2027.
