India–Germany Cooperation on Green Hydrogen takes a step forward
Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) and Hintco GmbH have agreed on the key terms of a Framework Agreement for the preparation, development and implementation of a potential bilateral Indo-German H2Global Tender for the trading of Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBOs).

The Framework Agreement builds on the MoU signed between SECI and H2Global in November 2024 and subsequent discussions between the two organisations.

Subject to requisite Government approvals, SECI and Hintco will undertake detailed preparations for the proposed joint tender in consultation with the respective Governments.

The initiative represents a step towards strengthening India–EU cooperation in green hydrogen and renewable fuels, while supporting the development of pathways for international trade in RFNBOs.
