The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board actively participated in the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart, held from October 7 to 10, 2026. The event aimed to introduce touoperators from across the country and various states to Chhattisgarh's tourist destinations, rich culture, and diverse tourism potential. Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Neelu Sharma and Managing Director Saumil Ranjan Choubey were present on the occasion.

During the mart, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Managing Director Saumil Ranjan Choubey met with the Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department, Ilaiyaraaja, as well as senior officials and Managing Directors from the tourism departments of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and other states. These meetings facilitated meaningful discussions on mutual cooperation in the tourism sector, the promotion of tourist destinations in various states, and the potential for promoting interstate tourism.

On this occasion, relevant officials were invited to visit Chhattisgarh to gain firsthand experience of the state's natural resources, cultural heritage, wildlife tourism, and diverse tourist destinations. Additionally, mutual cooperation can be strengthened to promote Chhattisgarh tourism at the national level.
