Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) organized a meeting of AHRMs & CSR/Welfare Nodal Officers under the Chairmanship of Bikram Ghosh, Director(Finance & HR), WCL to review the remarkable CSR achievements of FY 2025-26. WCL achieved a record-breaking 108% CSR compliance along with the highest CSR expenditure in the last decade, marking FY 2025-26 as a landmark year in its CSR journey. Bikram Ghosh appreciated the dedicated efforts of Areas, CSR/Welfare teams and HQ officials for impactful implementation of CSR initiatives across operational areas. He also shared strategic guidance for the CSR Action Plan FY 2026-27, focusing on sustainable and outcome-driven initiatives. During the programme, five Areas were felicitated for excellence in CSR and welfare initiatives, while HQ-level CSR Committee Members and distinguished contributors were specially recognized for their invaluable contribution to WCL’s CSR success.
