Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Western Coalfields Limited, visited Gondegaon OCM and reviewed the ongoing mining operations, coal production and dispatch arrangements.

During the visit, Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande emphasised the urgent need to improve coal dispatch through the Tube Conveyor system and directed the concerned officials to ensure close monitoring for its effective and optimum utilisation.

Dr. Hemant Pande further stressed upon expeditious liquidation of coal stock on top priority, with focus on strengthening the overall dispatch mechanism and ensuring enhanced supply of coal to GENCOs.

Dr. Hemant Pande visited the HoE working patches and departmental working patches and carried out a detailed review of coal production and OBR keeping in view the asking rate of coal production for the balance period of the financial year.
