BPCL has signed two MoUs, as a part of its CSR initiatives, aimed at enhancing urban infrastructure, green spaces, heritage conservation, tourism facilities and public amenities in Varanasi. The MoUs were signed in the presence of Ashok Tiwari BJP, Mayor, Varanasi Nagar Nigam; S Rajalingam, Commissioner, Varanasi Division; and Sanjay Khanna, Chairman & Managing Director, BPCL.

The first MoU was signed between BPCL, Kashi Integrated Parking & Recreational Foundation (KIPRF) and Varanasi Smart City Ltd. (VSCL). BPCL has pledged to redevelop and beautify 119 public parks and develop Food Street Hubs at Sarnath and Maidagin.

The second MoU was signed between BPCL and the Varanasi Development Authority (VDA). Under this MoU, BPCL will contribute towards the beautification of heritage streets and key corridors across the city.

Together, these initiatives will enhance public spaces and urban infrastructure while helping preserve and showcase the rich heritage of Varanasi.
