Union Bank of India remembers Mahatma Gandhi & Lal Bahadur Shastri
Union Bank of India honours the legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri with a commitment to ‘Sewa Bhaav’.
On the occasion of GandhiJayanti and the birth anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri, Union Bank of India’s Mumbai Zonal Office paid tribute to these great leaders. The celebrations commenced at our historic M S Marg Branch, proudly inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1921.
Speaking at the event, our MD & CEO, Asheesh Pandey, along with our Executive Directors, Nitesh Ranjan, Ramasubramanian S and Amresh Prasad, emphasised the importance of service: “As a service-oriented organisation, we should always have ‘Sewa Bhaav’ towards our customers.”
Carrying these values forward, our CSR efforts also extended to the young minds of Andhra Education Society, with the distribution of school bags and stationery.
Through such initiatives, we continue to uphold our commitment to community welfare, education and social responsibility.
