Tourists sweating to procure tickets to visit Qutub Minar
After the deadly strain of COVID-19 died down, domestic and international tourists started thronging the tourist places in the country.

In India, there are a large number of sites of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). The ASI protects around four thousand monuments and archaeological sites of national importance.

In the major cities, tourists crowd the sites in large number and face problems.

The ASI is generating revenue by fixing entry fees for both national and domestic tourists.

The tourists are compelled to stand in long queues to procure entry passes. They have to remain standing in the queue for more than one hour.

However, the ASI has facilitated procuring online tickets but it seldom works.

The ASI can open more ticket counters especially on Saturdays and Sundays for the comfort of tourists, but to no avail.

At the ASI site, Qutub Minar (قطب مینار), long serpentine queues can be witnessed in Delhi.
