Tourism Minister Visits Roerich–Devika Rani Estate
Along with Minister for Energy & Tourism K. J. George, visited the Roerich–Devika Rani Estate to review the ongoing eco-tourism development works.
The Minister directed that the permitted works be expedited while ensuring that the estate’s natural landscape, green cover, and cultural and artistic heritage are carefully preserved. The development is being taken forward within the scope currently permitted by the High Court.
Our focus is on creating essential visitor amenities sensitively, strengthening the overall experience without compromising the character of this unique estate. The ongoing works will be prioritised, while subsequent phases will be planned in coordination with the departments concerned.
The Minister also directed the preparation of an additional eco-tourism action plan for submission before the High Court.
