Petronet LNG Limited's MD& CEO, Akshay Kumar Singh inaugurated “Urja Udyan,” a newly developed landscaped garden spread across approximately 4,200 sq. m.  opposite to Prerna Building at the Kochi LNG Terminal. The initiative aims to enhance the visual appeal and ambience of the surroundings while creating a greener  space for employees and visitors.

The landscape features a diverse variety of trees including Filicium decipiens, Plumeria alba and Clusia rosea, along with shrubs such as Finger Aralia, Thuja and Schefflera varieties. Ground-covering plants including Kyoto Grass, Arachis pintoi and Ipomoea batatas, complemented by Pearl Grass and Mexican Grass add to the lush green character of the garden.

Adding to the ambience, three fountains, refurbished pathways and designated seating areas provide spaces for relaxation and interaction. The garden is further enhanced with warm illumination, creating an inviting atmosphere during the evening hours.

The inauguration was done in the presence of Pramod Narang, Director (Technical), Saurav Mitra, Director (Finance) & CFO and Mithilesh Singh, CGM & VP (Plant Head), Kochi LNG Terminal along with senior officials and colleagues from the terminal.
