Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel), NHPC, along with senior officials of NHPC, participated in the meeting of the “Study Visit of the Parliamentary Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes (2025–26)” at Srinagar on May 21, 2026. The Committee acknowledged and deliberated upon the subject, “Regarding measures undertaken to secure representation of OBCs in employment & their welfare in NHPC.” Director (Personnel) apprised the Committee about the ongoing measures being undertaken by NHPC to secure representation of OBCs in employment and their welfare in NHPC. NHPC successfully hosted the meetings related to the Study Visit of the Parliamentary Committee on Welfare of Other Backward Classes (2025–26) at Srinagar from May 20 to 21, 2026.
