HURL’s Delhi Head Office, an MoU was signed with Achievers Farmer Foundation, in the presence of Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director, HURL, for the installation of 53 High-Mast Lighting Systems across prominent public places and rural areas of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The initiative will bring improved illumination to major road junctions, local markets, public gathering areas, community spaces and other identified locations, with installations designed in accordance with applicable technical and safety standards, considering site conditions, lighting requirements, power availability and long-term maintenance.

By enhancing nighttime visibility, facilitating safer movement for pedestrians and vehicles, and improving the usability of public spaces after dark, the project aims to strengthen community infrastructure and contribute to inclusive local development.
