IWAI Chairman meets J&K Chief Secretary
Sushil Kumar Lohani, IAS, Chairman, IWAI, met Atal Dulloo, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, to review and discuss the progress of ongoing IWT activities on River Jhelum (NW-49), River Chenab (NW-26) and River Ravi (NW-84) in the Union Territory.
As part of the MoU with the Government of J&K, Inland Waterways Authority of India is advancing river navigation infrastructure on these National Waterways to boost connectivity, tourism and regional development.
