Sushil Kumar Lohani, IAS, Chairman, IWAI, met Pratyaya Amrit, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, to deliberate on strengthening and expanding inland water transport infrastructure in the State. The meeting focused on the proposed development of Water Metro at 11 locations and cruise terminals at two locations, which will further enhance Bihar’s water transport network. Amrit welcomed these initiatives by IWAI and assured the necessary support from the State Government for expeditious land acquisition and timely implementation of the projects.
