Sushil Kumar Lohani, Chairman, Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) conducted a site inspection of key Inland Water Transport (IWT) projects along NationalWaterway-1 in Bihar, reviewing progress and development at the Kalughat Intermodal Terminal, the proposed cruise terminal, and the upcoming ship repair facility. These initiatives are set to strengthen cargo movement, cruise tourism, vessel maintenance and overall connectivity along Bihar’s waterways, supporting a more efficient and future-ready IWT ecosystem.
