IRFC: Celebration of women’s empowerment
On Gandhi Jayanti, it was a fitting celebration of the spirit of women’s empowerment and sporting excellence as IRFC, along with SP Bhojpur, promoted hockey among girls in rural communities.
The moment was made even more special as the Indian women’s hockey team scripted history at the Asian Games, defeating China 1–0 to win Gold after 44 years.
For the past year, IRFC’s ‘Fit GirlFitIndia’ CSR initiative has been working to take sports and fitness closer to girls in rural India, because champions are nurtured when opportunity reaches every doorstep.
