IIM Mumbai is privileged to continue strengthening its collaboration with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) as a Knowledge Partner in advancing applied research and capacity building in areas of national importance.

An IIM Mumbai delegation, led by Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Director, IIM Mumbai, visited the Office of the Principal Director of Audit, Railway, Mumbai. He was accompanied by Prof. Vivekanand B Khanapuri, Dean – Research, Innovation and Outreach; Prof. Sushmita Narayana, Chairperson – Business Development; and Prof. Rofin T M, Chairperson – Applied Research and Consultancy.

The team had enriching discussions with Pravir Pandey, Additional Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General (Railways); Mrs  Yatinder, Additional Deputy CAG (Railways), OSD; Mrs Vinita Mishra, Director General, Railway Board Audit; and Mrs Aditi Sharma, Principal Director of Audit, Railway, Mumbai.

We deeply appreciate the leadership and continued support of Pravir Pandey in fostering this academic–institutional partnership and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement between CAG and IIM Mumbai.

As a Knowledge Partner to CAG, IIM Mumbai has been successfully undertaking applied research projects and delivering specialized capacity-building programs, bringing together academic expertise, analytical approaches and domain knowledge to address contemporary challenges in public systems, infrastructure, logistics and governance.
