IIM Mumbai and Genpact jointly holding workshop
IIM Mumbai and Genpact are jointly organizing an executive workshop on “Enterprise AI in Action: Leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI and Decision Intelligence for Business Transformation” at Bengaluru, on 26–27 August 2026.
At the heart of the workshop will be Prof. David Simchi-Levi (Director, MIT Data Science Lab, Distinguished Professor, Purdue University), one of the world’s leading thinkers in supply chain management, analytics, and technology, who will lead several key sessions across the two days.
The workshop will bring together perspectives on Generative AI, Agentic AI, the transition from automation to autonomy, and AI-driven supply chain transformation and decision-making, combining strategic discussions with hands-on engagement.
The event will be attended by Genpact leaders, members of their internal Supply Chain and transformation teams, and a select group of client leaders, creating a unique forum for exchanging perspectives on the future of AI-enabled business transformation.
We are delighted to have Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Director, IIM Mumbai, and Mr. Diwakar Singhal, Global Business Leader – Manufacturing and High Tech Hardware, Genpact, as key leaders associated with this industry–academia engagement.
A collaboration of this nature comes together through the efforts of several people across both organizations.
From Genpact, Mr. Tarun Srinivasan, Chief operating officer, Data Tech AI , Mr. Vikas Malhotra, Vice President, Lean digital transformation; and Mr. Satish Armugam, Vice President, Supply Chain & Logistics Analytics have been closely involved in shaping the engagement and bringing the workshop together.
From IIM Mumbai, Prof. Vivekanand Khanapuri, Dean – Research, Innovation & Outreach; Prof. Sushmita Narayana, Chairperson – Business Development; Prof. Debabrata Das, PIC – International Collaboration; Prof. Rofin T. M., Chairperson – Applied Research and Consultancy; Prof. Jasashwi Mandal and Prof. Rony Mitra have been closely involved in taking this collaboration forward and creating the institutional platform for this academia–industry engagement.
It is exciting to see academic thought leadership, institutional leadership and enterprise experience come together around a common question: How can the rapidly evolving capabilities of AI be translated into better business decisions and measurable enterprise impact?
Looking forward to two days of engaging conversations, hands-on learning and exchange between academia and industry in Bengaluru.
