IGL MD attends release of TERI’s study
Appreciating TERI’s findings and PNGRB’s initiatives, he highlighted the potential of LNG and LCNG in India’s evolving mobility and gas infrastructure landscape, with particular emphasis on expanding the LCNG station network.
He also highlighted the need for an enabling policy framework, including removal/rationalisation of excise duty on LCNG and development of LNG refuelling infrastructure along major highways, to improve viability and accelerate adoption, particularly for long-haul transportation.
Building the right infrastructure today can enable cleaner and more diversified mobility pathways for tomorrow.
