At WUF 13, HUDCO participated in an engaging session themed “From Risk to Resilience – Placing Housing at the Forefront of Climate-Sensitive Planning,” focused on advancing resilient, safe and climate-responsive housing systems for sustainable urban futures.

Addressing global leaders, policymakers and urban experts, Sanjay Kulshrestha, CMD spoke on the need to move beyond housing supply towards resilient and affordable housing integrated with climate-sensitive planning, risk-informed infrastructure and innovative financing mechanisms, including land monetisation.

The panel also featured Jitendra Sharma Kakoty, Ms. Shabnam Bassi, Dr Sandile Mbatha, Ms Sonja Golubovic and Dr Ali Jamshed.
