GVMC to organize Summer Sports coaching Camps for over 12,000 Students
GVMC Commissioner Shri Ketan Garg, IAS announced that the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) will conduct Summer Sports Coaching Camps from May 25 to June 6, 2026 across 486 centres within GVMC limits for boys and girls aged between 8 and 16 years.
A total of 12,036 students will benefit from the camps, where training will be imparted in 41 sports disciplines. The Summer Sports Coaching Camps will be inaugurated on May 25.
During a review meeting held at the GVMC Main Office, Commissioner Ketan Garg directed officials to ensure all necessary arrangements including T-shirts, nutritious supplements, buttermilk, drinking water, medical support, and proper monitoring facilities at every coaching centre
