Gurdeep Singh gets yet another extension as CMD, NTPC

The tenure of Gurdeep Singh as Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NTPC Limited has been extended on contract basis for a period of six months with effect from August 1, 2026. His tenure was coming to an end on July 31, 2026. The Government of India is yet to declare his successor.
