Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), under the leadership of Shri Hiten Vasant, Vice President, GCCI, held an interaction with Ms. Kshipra Suryakantrao Agre, IAS, Commissioner, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Office of the MSME Commissionerate, along with Shri Prashant Gupta, Secretary General, GCCI, to discuss key MSME operational issues, policy concerns and challenges faced by MSMEs in Gujarat, on 16th October 2026 at Udyog Bhavan, Gandhinagar.

The discussion covered key MSME operational issues, including delayed payment disputes, DPIIT start-up registration, R&D assistance requirements and certificates for SGST documentation. Policy matters included work contract payment disputes, FSSAI licensing, and the MSME procurement reservation policy.

The interaction provided an opportunity to highlight industry concerns and seek clarity on relevant policy provisions, with the objective of addressing challenges faced by MSMEs and supporting their growth in Gujarat.
