Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) successfully launched Day 1 of the PhD Immersion Program (5th–9th October 2026)

The opening day set a strong foundation with insightful sessions and distinguished speakers:• Inaugural Keynotes: The program commenced with motivating addresses by Vivek Sharma (Managing Director), Ms Manju Maan (Executive Director, Noida), and Dr. Renu Sharma (Head Academics).

Industry Perspective: We were delighted to have Suresh Chopra, Supply Key Account Manager at Cultsport Private Limited, join us as a speaker to share valuable industry insights on opening day.

Academic & Research Excellence: Scholars dived deep into Research Methodology with Dr. Koumi Dutta (Scientist, COE Jodhpur) and explored Research & Publication Ethics with Akhilesh Chaudhary (CAE Expert, Footwear Development & Innovation, IIT Delhi).   The Program coordinator, Dr. Anupriya, anchored the opening event.
