Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Bokaro Thermal Power Station (BTPS), organised “Ash Meet 2026” on 26 September 2026 at the Officers’ Club, BTPS, with a focus on sustainable fly ash utilisation, regular ash lifting and stronger industry collaboration.

The programme was graced by Swapnendu Panda, Member (Technical), DVC, as the Chief Guest, along with senior DVC officials, Project Heads, industry representatives and experts from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Maithon Power Limited and CTPS.

The event featured insightful technical presentations on:  Container-based multimodal logistics; Fly ash evacuation and customer convenience; Innovative avenues for fly ash utilization; Sustainable ash management; A key highlight was the Industry Interaction & Open Discussion, providing a platform to deliberate on regular ash lifting, MoUs, EOIs and emerging opportunities for enhanced fly ash utilisation.

Through Ash Meet 2026, DVC reaffirmed its commitment to circular economy principles, sustainable ash management, environmental responsibility and meaningful industry partnerships.
