A significant meeting was held at the "Manthan" Auditorium, located at the CCL Headquarters in Ranchi, under the chairmanship of Brajesh Kumar Tripathi, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Coal India Limited (CIL). The meeting was attended by CCL’s CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) Chandrashekhar Tiwari, Director (Planning & Projects) Anup Hanjura, and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, along with General Managers and Heads of Departments from all divisions.

The program commenced with CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh welcoming CIL CVO Brajesh Kumar Tripathi by presenting him with a shawl and a floral bouquet. This was followed by a rendition of the Coal India corporate anthem. Delivering the welcome address, CCL CVO Pankaj Kumar extended a warm welcome to Tripathi on his visit to CCL.

In his address, CCL CMD Singh expressed his gratitude to the CIL CVO and highlighted CCL's achievements during the financial year 2025-26. He specifically cited the successes achieved in obtaining forest land clearances, developing new mines, and restarting mines that had remained closed for decades.

The highlight of the program was the keynote address delivered by CIL CVO Brajesh Kumar Tripathi on the theme "Reform-Transform-Perform-Inform." He stated that every "Coal Indian" is, in essence, a "Vigilance Officer" in their own right. He remarked, "Vigilance is for You, by You; Vigilance is with You Always." On this occasion, he also administered the "Integrity Pledge" to all the officers and employees present.

At the conclusion of the program, a memento was presented to Brajesh Kumar Tripathi by the CCL CMD. In his vote of thanks, Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra expressed his gratitude for the inspiring thoughts shared by the CIL CVO, emphasizing that the objective of the Vigilance Department is precisely the same as the objective of the company itself.
