BPCL has achieved a significant milestone in its sustainability journey with Mumbai Refinery receiving the prestigious ISCC CORSIA certification for the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) through Used Cooking Oil (UCO) co-processing.

The certification was formally handed over by M/s Cotecna to Sankar M, Executive Director – Mumbai Refinery, and Sanjeev Kumar, Executive Director – Aviation, in the presence of senior officials.

Achieved through the collaborative efforts of the Aviation Business Unit, Mumbai Refinery and CRDC, this certification reinforces BPCL's commitment to sustainable aviation and its readiness to support international airlines in meeting global decarbonisation goals.

With this achievement, BPCL is now equipped to supply CORSIA-compliant SAF, further strengthening its position as a reliable and future-ready aviation fuel partner while contributing to a greener aviation ecosystem.
