ALIMCO: Hindi Fortnight 2026 concludes
The closing ceremony of the Hindi Fortnight, held from September 17 to 29, 2026, at ALIMCO Headquarters, Kanpur, concluded in a dignified atmosphere, highlighting the importance, prestige, and widespread use of Hindi.
The program was presided over by Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Praveen Kumar. In his presidential address, he described Hindi as an integral medium of our culture, unity, and identity and urged officers and employees to use Hindi more and more in daily office work, notes, and correspondence.
During the Hindi Fortnight, various competitions were organized, including essay writing, note-drafting, debate, dictation, and poetry recitation. Winners and participants of the competitions were honored by Praveen Kumar with prizes and Hindi novels.
At the event, Narendra Singh, Member of the Ministry's Hindi Official Language Implementation Committee, conducted an informative Hindi workshop for employees and shared useful suggestions for the effective implementation of the official language.
On this occasion, senior officers and employees of the Corporation including Atul Rustagi, General Manager (Finance), Sanjib Arora, General Manager (Personnel & Administration), and General Manager in-charge (Production) Vivek Dwivedi were present.
