Workshop on Official Language conducted at NMPA
A workshop on Official Language Policy, Rules and Provisions of the Union was conducted at NMPA 2026 by Mrityunjay Jha, Director, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, GoI.
During the session, Mrityunjay Jha elaborated on the constitutional provisions, policies, and guidelines relating to the implementation of Official Language in Government offices. He emphasized the importance of promoting the progressive use of Hindi in official work while ensuring effective communication and administrative efficiency.
The workshop witnessed active participation from Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairman, NMPA, and Mrs S Shanthi, Deputy Chairperson, NMPA, along with senior officers and employees of the Port. They encouraged employees to make greater use of Official Language in their day-to-day work and highlighted the importance of compliance with Government of India directives on Rajbhasha implementation.
