A meeting of the company level Welfare Board was held at Bilaspur Bhawan, Indira Vihar, SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur. The meeting was presided over by Biranchi Das, Director (Personnel).

Speaking on the occasion, Das stated that promoting employee welfare and sports activities is among SECL's top priorities. He emphasized that the effective implementation of welfare schemes would be ensured for the holistic development of employees.

Distinguished members of the Company Welfare Board—i Mahendra Pal Singh, Bajrangi Sahi, Rajesh Sharma, Pritam Nath Pathak, and Amrit Lal Vishwakarma—participated in the meeting alongside senior officials from the Bilaspur headquarters. Key officials present included Mrs Sujata Rani, General Manager (Industrial Relations/NEE); Rajnish Kumar, General Manager (Finance); BC Sethi, General Manager (Welfare); Bhanu Singh, General Manager (Civil); Manish Srivastava, Deputy General Manager (Administration/Official Language/Public Relations); and Shruti Dev Mishra, Head of Medical Services.

Various issues related to employee welfare were discussed during the meeting. Deliberations also took place regarding the promotion of sports activities within SECL, increasing employee participation, and ensuring the effective implementation of welfare schemes.
