Valedictory session for working executives of Coal India Ltd at IIM Mumbai
The valedictory session of the 2nd batch of One-Year PGPEx Program on Logistics and Operations Excellence Through Digitization for the working executives of Coal India Limited was held in IIM Mumbai.  Director Prof M K Tiwari under whose guidance and mentorship the program has successfully completed two successive batches, spoke about the Institute’s role in capacity enhancement among the working executives with regard to the cutting edge technology so as to meet the challenges of changing business landscape and thanked CIL for providing this opportunity to IIM Mumbai. He thanked the Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhanji for his initiatives in launching this program. Program Chair Prof. Padmanav Acharya during his inaugural address navigated through the journey since the inception of the program and spoke about adapting to the changing requirements. He hailed the extent of value the program has provided to the participants in their transformative journey. Dean Academic Prof. Vivek Khanzode spoke about how this program, being the first executive program to be launched in IIM Mumbai continues to be a highly successful and value adding one for all the stakeholders. He reiterated all support for the program from academic section. Dean, SRIC, Prof. Khanapuri spoke about implementation of the learning in making transitions in parent organization. Dean, Alumni affairs and International Relations Prof. Sumi Jha welcomed the batch as future alumni of IIM Mumbai. Prof. Veepan Kumar anchored the event and offered the vote of thanks.
