V O Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tuticorin, has received several notable recognitions from leading maritime, infrastructure, and sustainability platforms, reflecting its continued commitment to operational excellence, infrastructure modernisation, and sustainable port development.

Among the recognitions received are the 3rd Rank at Sagar Aankalan – Logistics Port Performance Index (LPPI) 2024–25, the Build India Infra Award for the Berth 9 Mechanisation Project, the Swachh Bharat Pakhwada Award 2025, and the Green Visionary Award at India Maritime Week 2025.

These recognitions were presented by Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, at national maritime and industry forums.

These recognitions reflect the Port's ongoing efforts to enhance logistics efficiency, expand cargo handling capabilities, advance decarbonisation initiatives, and contribute to India's vision of a modern and future-ready maritime sector.
