UP Tourism marks grand opening at JATA Tourism Expo Japan 2026
On the first day of JATA (Japan Association of Travel Agents) – Tourism Expo Japan 2026, Uttar Pradesh Tourism marked its presence at this major international platform. The Uttar Pradesh Tourism stall was inaugurated by HE Ms Nagma Mohamed Mallick, Ambassador of India; Suman Billa, Additional Secretary and Director General, Ministry of Tourism; Dr R K Suman, Deputy Director General, Ministry of Tourism; and Ms. Udita Gaurav, First Secretary, Embassy of India in Tokyo, Japan.
The inauguration marked the beginning of a four-day showcase of Uttar Pradesh’s Buddhist Circuit, spiritual heritage, Kannauj’s legendary fragrance heritage as the Perfume Capital of India, and its vibrant cultural tapestry. Uttar Pradesh Tourism presented the state’s diverse cultural treasures and spiritual experiences to an international audience.
With four co-exhibitors, the stall also served as a hub for impactful B2B meetings, business networking, and meaningful engagement with global tourism stakeholders.
