THDC India Ltd: Reaffirming commitment to cleanliness
As part of the campaign, Sipan Kumar Garg, Managing Director, THDCIL, administered the Swachhata Pledge to employees at the Corporate Office, Rishikesh. Garg emphasised the importance of cleanliness in daily life and urged employees to adopt responsible practices while inspiring those around them to contribute towards maintaining clean and sustainable surroundings.
Garg highlighted that the spirit of Swachhata Hi Seva lies in the collective efforts of individuals, organisations, and communities. He stated that cleanliness is an essential component of sustainable development and that every citizen has a role to play in strengthening the vision of Swachh Bharat and Viksit Bharat. He also underscored the need to make cleanliness a sustained practice rather than a periodic activity.
Shri Garg reaffirmed THDCIL’s commitment to the objectives of the campaign and stated that the organisation, through its offices and projects, will continue to promote cleanliness, environmental awareness, and community participation. He emphasised that collective action is essential for creating healthier surroundings and contributing to the broader national vision of a clean, sustainable, and developed India.
In alignment with this year’s theme, “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat,” THDCIL is undertaking a series of cleanliness drives, awareness activities, and community engagement initiatives across all its projects and offices.
Kumar Sharad, ED (Projects), Neeraj Verma, ED (C&MM and CP), and other senior officials of THDCIL were also present during the pledge ceremony.
