Sunil Kumar Nagdawne has assumed the charge as Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Pawan Hans Limited (PHL), Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

Nagdawne brings with him over three decades of distinguished leadership experience spanning aviation, energy, infrastructure management, operational excellence and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining Pawan Hans, he served as General Manager (Aviation), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), where he led critical aviation fuel operations, airport infrastructure initiatives and strategic business development activities supporting both civil and defence aviation sectors.

During his distinguished career, Nagdawne has held several key leadership positions in India and overseas and has made significant contributions towards strengthening aviation operations, enhancing operational efficiency, promoting safety excellence and developing customer-centric service models. His expertise encompasses aviation operations, infrastructure development, quality assurance, safety management, business strategy and organizational transformation.

He is an engineering graduate from NIT Bhopal and holds an MBA in Operations & Decision Sciences from NMIMS, Mumbai. He has also undergone executive leadership programmes at premier management institutions including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta.
