The Department of Atomic Energy will be filling the vacancy of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) through Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC). A vacancy of CMD, ECIL is arising on February 1, 2026 with the expiring term of incumbent Anurag Kumar in January. The main objectives of the company are to promote and develop Industrial electronics with indigenous know-how and to attain self-sufficiency in Atomic Energy programme, Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, Security, IT & e-Governance and other sectors of strategic importance. ECIL has been conferred with Miniratna Status.
