A special electric bus service for employees, running from the WCL headquarters to the WCL Indora complex, was launched through the joint efforts of WCL and the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). Speaking on the occasion, WCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Dr. Pandey stated that this joint initiative by WCL and NMC aligns with the call made by the Honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to maximize the use of public transport. He remarked that the increased use of public transport not only aids in environmental conservation but also represents a significant step towards sustainable development. He urged the employees to make the most of this facility. Efforts are also underway to bring more employees into the fold of this initiative to promote the use of public transport on a larger scale. The bus service was flagged off by senior WCL officials, including WCL General Manager (Mining/Public Relations) S R Gabale, Maha Metro Joint General Manager Mahesh Morone, and NMC Senior Operations Manager Nimsarkar.
