SECI signs MoU with HADL
SECI signs MoU with Hyper Vault AI Data Center Limited (HADL) for renewable energy supply to upcoming data centre facilities in Telangana.
Under the MoU, SECI will explore the development of renewable energy projects on a captive basis, including land identification and facilitation of transmission connectivity for power supply to HADL’s upcoming data centre facilities.
The MoU was signed by Sivakumar V. Vepakomma, Director (Power Systems), SECI, and Deepesh Nanda, MD & CEO, HADL, in the presence of Akash Tripathi, IAS, Managing Director, SECI, and senior officials from both organisations.
The initiative marks the first-ever exclusive renewable energy supply initiative for data centre operations in India, bringing together the country’s growing digital infrastructure and clean energy transition.
