Saleem Ahmad, Chairman & Managing Director, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) assumed additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director of IRCON International Limited. Ahmad has been working as CMD, RVNL since December 23, 2025.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi and brings over 35 years of extensive experience in the construction sector. His background encompasses execution of large scale infrastructure projects, with specialised expertise in bridges, tunnels, as well as residential and commercial developments.

Earlier, he worked as Director (Project) at NBCC (India) Ltd. Prior to joining NBCC, Ahmad served as Executive Director (Civil) at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. and previously held a position at Mumbai Port Trust. Throughout his distinguished career, he has contributed significantly to sustainable infrastructure, presenting papers at national and international forums and playing a pivotal role in designing and implementing last-mile connectivity solutions during his tenure at DMRC.
