RECPDCL hands over Jalna Power Transmission Ltd to MSETCL
RECPDCL, a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has successfully handed over Jalna Power Transmission Limited (SPV) to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) on 12 June 2026.
Awarded through the TBCB route, the ₹912 crore intra-state transmission project in Maharashtra will be developed on a BOOT basis and includes a new 400/132 kV substation at Jalna and 135 km of 132 kV transmission lines. The project is targeted for completion within 24 months.
The SPV was handed over by Ratnesh Kumar, General Manager(Engg)- RECPDCL to Ms. Vineeta Shriwani, Company Secretary-MSETCL and Amit Naik, Chief Engineer (TBCB)- MSETCL, in the presence of senior officials from MSETCL, Maharashtra STU and RECPDCL.
