Railways Ministry breeds new PSU: IIRIL
The Ministry of Railways has hammered out a merger of IRCON International Limited and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), creating a new Railway PSU: Integrated Indian Railway Infrastructure Limited (IIRIL).
As per information available here, the Ministry of Railways has moved the plan of merger and it (merger) will be materialized only after the approvals of shareholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) both IRCON International Limited and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL).
Both the companies are listed companies and there will be only one Board after the merger.
