Pushp Kumar Nayar, Executive Director (Corporate HR), has taken over the charge as Director (Human Resources), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). 

Nayar is a graduate of the University of Delhi and holds an MBA in Business Administration from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He has extensive experience across key marketing functions at BPCL, encompassing Retail and Lubricants businesses, and has also served on deputation with Indraprastha Gas Limited. Over the course of his career spanning more than 35 years, he has handled diverse leadership roles across businesses in Regions, Headquarters, and Supply Chain functions, before assuming the role of Executive Director (HRD).

In Human Resources, he has extensively contributed to talent augmentation, assimilation of organizational culture and values, succession planning, and comprehensive Talent discussions through Talent Review Panels. He has also been instrumental in harnessing HR analytics and AI-led interventions to embed data-driven decision-making and build future ready organizational capability. With over three decades of combined experience in business and HR, he has consistently contributed to operational excellence, risk awareness, and stakeholder engagement across assignments.
