National Projects Construction Corporation Limited (NPCC) is reported to have suspended its Executive Director, Dharmendra Mudgal on the charges of corruption.

According to reliable sources, the Executive Director (Projects) of NPCC, a CPSE under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, has been suspended after mounting pressure and escalating concerns over corruption. Despite earlier reluctance on the part of the CMD to take action, the situation reportedly crossed all limits, necessitating decisive intervention.

The move comes amid longstanding criticism regarding irregularities in NPCC and WAPCOS. The suspension is being viewed as a compelled step toward accountability. It now remains to be seen whether further action will follow and if meaningful reforms will be implemented within the PSU.
