NIRL OREDA Renewables Limited, the joint venture between NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) and OREDA Limited, successfully conducted its 1st Board Meeting on 21st September 2026 in Bhubaneswar, marking the formal commencement of the Company's Board-level operations.

The board meeting was attended by Dr. Prasanna Kumar Acharya, Chairman, NORL and CMD, NLC India Limited; Rajesh Pratap Singh Sisodia, Director, NORL and Director (Planning & Projects), NLC India Limited; Dr. Satya Priya Rath, IAS, Director, NORL and Chairman, OREDA Limited; Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, OAS, Director, NORL and CEO, OREDA Limited; and Ramachandra R. Parashar, Director, NIRL, underscoring the shared commitment of both parent organisations to the new venture.

A key highlight of the meeting was the unveiling of the Company's official logo, symbolising the shared vision of NLC India Renewables Limited and OREDA Limited to advance clean, sustainable and renewable energy in India.

During the meeting, the Board deliberated on the Company's strategic roadmap and way forward, including the development of renewable energy projects and the exploration of new opportunities across the renewable energy sector. The Company looks forward to leveraging the combined strengths of its parent organisations to develop impactful renewable energy initiatives that contribute to Odisha's clean energy vision and creating substantial renewable footprint in the state through this JV.
