The NIELIT – Infineon Centre of Excellence on Semiconductor Manufacturing was inaugurated virtually by Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Commerce & Industry, Government of India, in the presence of Jochen Hanebeck, CEO, Infineon Technologies AG , Dr M M Tripathi, DG, NIELIT , Georg Enzweiler, Charge d‘ affairs, Federal Republic of Germany in India, Ms Neha Kumari, IAS, Mission Director of the Gujarat State Electronics Mission, and other senior officials.

The NIELIT – Infineon Centre of Excellence on Semiconductors Manufacturing will strengthen India’s semiconductor talent ecosystem through industry-oriented education, hands-on training & capacity building in backend manufacturing, including assembly and packaging.
