The National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited (NFCSF) organised the Cooperative Sugar Industry Conclave 2026 followed by the National Efficiency Awards  — to recognise and celebrate excellence across various areas of sugar-sector operations.

The event was graced by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari; Minister of State for Cooperation, Krishan Pal Gurjar; Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of Punjab; and NFCSF President, Harshvardhan Patil, along with other distinguished dignitaries and representatives from the cooperative sugar sector.

NCDC was honoured with the “Best Cooperative Financial Institution” award, recognising its significant contribution to strengthening and supporting the cooperative sugar industry. Through accessible financial assistance, term loans and other development-oriented support, NCDC continues to enable sugar cooperatives to modernise their operations, strengthen infrastructure, improve efficiency and enhance their overall financial and operational capabilities.
